Shahid Khan — iOS Apps · Last updated 28 August 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to iPhone and iPad apps published by Shahid Khan on the Apple App Store (currently Resume Builder, and additional apps as they are released). Contact: contacttoshahidkhan@gmail.com.
Summary: Our apps are built to work on your device. We do not operate servers that store your documents or personal content. Most data stays in the app on your iPhone or iPad. Some free apps may show ads (Google AdMob). Paid features, where offered, are sold through Apple In-App Purchase. We do not sell your personal data.
1. What we collect
We do not collect the content you create in our apps. We do not run a backend that receives your résumés, files, photos, or other documents. Our apps generally do not include analytics SDKs or third-party crash-reporting services. We cannot read what you write or store inside an app.
The only information we may receive from you directly is what you choose to send by email when you contact support (for example your email address and the message you write).
2. What stays on your device
Depending on the app, the following may be stored locally in the app’s private container:
- Documents and content you create or edit
- Photos or files you choose to import (processed on device only)
- App preferences (for example appearance or feature settings)
- A local flag recording whether a Premium / In-App Purchase is active
This data lives on your iPhone or iPad. Deleting the app removes it from the device. If you use iCloud Backup, Apple’s backup of your device may include app data under Apple’s terms, not ours.
3. Advertising (free apps only)
Some of our apps are free and may show ads served by Google AdMob (for example banners, interstitials, or app-open ads). Google may process device identifiers, IP address, and coarse diagnostics to deliver and measure ads, under Google’s Privacy Policy.
On iOS we ask for App Tracking Transparency permission before using the advertising identifier for personalized ads. You can decline; the app still works, and ads may be less relevant. In-app Premium or paid versions remove ads where stated in the app. In the European Economic Area and UK, Google’s User Messaging Platform may show a consent form required by law.
4. In-App Purchases
Where an app offers Premium, subscriptions, or one-time unlocks, payment is processed entirely by Apple through In-App Purchase. Apple tells the app only whether a purchase or subscription is active. We never see your payment card details and receive no personal payment information from Apple. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
5. Permissions our apps may request
Only when a feature needs them, an app may ask for:
- Camera — for example to take a photo or scan a document on device
- Photo library — to pick an image you choose; only that selection is read
- Microphone — only where an app uses live sound level for a visual effect; nothing is recorded, transcribed, or sent off the device
- App Tracking Transparency — optional; for more relevant ads on free tiers
Each permission is optional, requested in context, and the app continues to work if you decline.
6. On-device features (including writing help)
Some apps may offer text improvement, review, or similar assistance. When present, this runs entirely on your device — using Apple’s on-device language model when available, or a bundled offline engine. There is no user-configured third-party AI API key and no developer-operated cloud AI server that receives your content. Your text is not sent by us to OpenAI, Google Gemini, or similar third-party AI cloud services.
7. Third parties
- Apple — App Store, In-App Purchase, device OS services
- Google AdMob — advertising on free tiers of apps that show ads (see above)
We do not sell personal data to data brokers or advertisers.
8. Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Apps with ads follow Google’s policies for ad serving.
9. Your choices
Because we do not hold your app content on our servers, there is usually nothing for us to export or delete on your behalf. You control data on your device: delete items inside the app, or remove all app data by deleting the app (some apps also offer a “Clear all data” option in Settings).
10. Our iOS apps
Resume Builder (résumé / CV maker)
- Documents, photos, and imports stay on device; no document server
- Free tier: ads via AdMob; up to two documents; optional Premium removes ads and unlocks paid features
- On-device writing help; nothing uploaded for AI
- Permissions used: Camera, Photos, Microphone (sound level only), ATT (ads)
Additional iOS apps will be listed here when published. If an app’s practices differ from this page, the App Store listing or in-app notice will say so.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
